You are on Koh Samui for a week, maybe less. Nobody wants to spend a day of it in a taxi hunting for a tailor. So we come to you. Our private car collects you from your hotel, resort or villa anywhere on the island, or we arrive with the cloth books and the tape and take your measurements where you are staying. It costs you nothing, and it is how most of our guests are fitted.
How the pickup works
It starts with a message. Tell us on WhatsApp where you are staying and when you are free, and we agree a time that suits your day rather than ours. Our air-conditioned car arrives at your hotel or villa, brings you to the atelier in Fisherman's Village, and takes you back afterwards. If you would rather not move at all, we do the opposite and come to you, with cloth books, tape and pins, so the whole consultation happens on your own terrace. From there it runs like any commission: we take your measurements, you choose the cloth and the cut, and we book your first fitting. Finished garments are pressed, checked and delivered back to your door before you fly out. No taxis, no addresses to hunt for, no holiday time lost.
Where we come to on Koh Samui
Anywhere on the island, and we mean that. Chaweng and Chaweng Noi, Lamai, Bophut and Fisherman's Village on our own doorstep, Maenam, Choeng Mon, Bang Rak and Plai Laem, and Lipa Noi and Taling Ngam over on the quieter west coast, along with the resorts and private villas tucked into the hills between them. If you are staying somewhere we have not named, send us the name of the resort or drop us a pin and we will be there. Koh Samui is a small island, our car is out on it every day, and the drive is part of the service rather than a line we add to your bill.
Who the service is for
Anyone short on time, which on a holiday is very nearly everyone. It suits travellers with two or three days and a long list, who would rather spend them on the beach than in traffic. It suits guests in private villas on the far side of the island, where a taxi each way can swallow an afternoon. It suits groups: a wedding party measured together, a family ordering at once, colleagues on a work trip who need something sharp for an evening. And it suits anyone who simply prefers to choose cloth with a coffee on their own terrace instead of standing in a shop.
Timing that fits your stay
Tell us your departure date in your first message and we build the schedule backwards from it. A first fitting often follows within 24 to 48 hours of your measurements, and most garments are finished within your stay rather than shipped on afterwards. If your trip is short, say so early and we will tell you honestly what is possible before you commit to anything. When the work is done we bring it to you, so the last thing you do is try it on in your own room, not queue at a counter on your way to the airport.
